Sometime, late of an evening in March 2007, a regrettable decision was taken. As a consequence of this decision three friends, Dr Andrew Murray, Mr William Garrood (Member of Surrey CCC) and Dr Alexis Haynes would competitively read Marcel Proust's masterpiece A La Recherche du Temps Perdu. The aforementioned Proustanauts were later joined in their endeavour by Mr Elliot Smith, who, aided in part by a bout of pneumonia, promptly overtook them all. The saga continues...

More importantly, what are other people's other reading project? I'm taking a slightly cavalier approach to this in that I am not intending to do all of Proust in one go - quite the reverse - and so am cheerfully starting other things as I go in the hope it will all come out in the wash.
I think a "last book read before Proust" entry might be in the offing on the 21st?
I agree - it will certainly make for interesting analysis. Incidentally - reference to Proust (or rather his medic father) in Love in t'Time of Cholera.
